Jodi got her ability to swallow back. Just today she noticed that she suddenly could swallow. We were all optimistic that she would get it; but having it back so soon is a god-send. She is ecstatic to say the least. She can now look forward to eating again within the next few days. She will move tomorrow to the rehab floor and start intense rehab on her eye and right side of her body. Her eye infection is also gone and she said that she has much better control of her right eye in general. The latest prognosis is 3 more weeks in the hospital, but she says she isn't staying more than 2. She knows that all of the prayers have paid off and wants to say thanks to everyone for all the faster than normal progress she has made. It was a good day.....
