Jodi was a little down yesterday day due to the fact that her trach was causing her discomfort and lessened her progress. She made a come back today. She was able to do a lot of assisted walking, leg excersizes, and is generally more optimistic today.
She is disappointed that they have told her she will most likely not be released before Jan 16th. But she probably needs the extra time to make sure that she will be where she needs to be in order to take care of herself and the family when she comes home.
She will probably be released to her mom's home when she is released, but would still like to be as independent as possible when she is.
Jodi says "hi". She really enjoys your comments. If you have commented please comment again; and if you haven't, please post a new comment. Reading these comments to her really brightens her day and looks forward to hear about who has posted.

Hi Jodi, Keep working girl, because Barry Manilow and I have prepared a new Christmas trio for all of us and we are ready to go on tour when you are ready. Barry's in it for the fame (and to be close to us two hot chics), but I know you and I would be in it to truly spread the word about Purple. I love you sweetie, and we pray that God's grace and love will be with you and comfort your family. Karen, Chip, Jack, Isabel Coleman

Hi Jodi,
I just want you to know that I am thinking of you. I am glad to hear you are getting better, though I know not as fast as you would like. Hang in there and know how much you are loved. Merry Christmas.

Jodi and family...
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! I truly hope you are having the BEST time. Make the most of this once in lifetime experience (It won't be every year you get spend the day at the fine U of U establishment-HE HE HE or should I say HO HO HO).
The other night I had the Great opportunity to go caroling with cub scouts and we were singing two songs in Spanish-we had just learned (obviously trying to impress the neighbors) and we show up to your house and wouldn't you know the cute grandparents spoke Spanish-BUSTED. They were so kind and I think your boys loved the invasion of the boys in blue.
I just want you to know how much I think you ROCK. I know this rehab thing can be one of the toughest things you have ever done and it will be frustrating at times but KEEP YOUR CHIN UP. You are such a hard worker and WOW 35 feet already-maybe more.
My thoughts and prayers are always with you and as always anything our family can do for you, we are there.
KEEP SMILING:)

Jodi,
Just a note to let you know we are thinking of you. You are an amazing person with incredible strength. Because or this, we KNOW you will continue to fight until you are well. We think so highly of you and have been reliving many of the fun memories we have shared with you and your family. We are grateful for the updates and we are so impressed with the great progress you are making. We hold a constant prayer for you in our hearts.
Love, Heather and Daren
Jodi, Merry Christmas! I know this is probably not the place you thought you would be during the holidays.... =) I thought of you today and the impression that came to my mind was that you and your family received the greatest gift of all this Christmas, life itself. It made me reflect a lot upon my own family and the gift of our Saviors life for us. What a priceless blessing. Than it made me think of a quote by Joseph Smith where he was talking about the fact that we have to be tried and tested like Abraham was and that we need to be tried and tested to be fit for the Celestial Kingdom. So I'm thinkin' you are pretty close to being about there.....=) Your STILL my hero---and are continually in our thoughts and prayers. I LOVE YA!!!!! Sherrie (Strebel) Fazzio and family....
Dear Jodi,
I just wanted to check on you and let you know that our prayers, as a family and a Relief Society, continue in your behalf. I am grateful that you and Rob have shared your experiences through the blog. It is helpful for us to experience the many miracles that have already occurred. I am sure that there are many other miracles ahead for you and your entire family. Your extended family has been amazing in encircling you, Rob, and your sweet children. As your neighbors and friends, we stand ready to help in any way that you need for as long as it is needed.
We love you and wish the best for you each day.
With love, Judy
