Jodi had the surgery yesterday to have the smaller trach put in. She is very excited to practice her new found swallowing and start talking. She walked about 35 yards yesterday; it exhausted her, but she is progressing well. She is missing her kids immensely and we plan to have Christmas day at the hospital for her family.
