Wednesday Afternoon

Sorry for no updates yesterday: Here is an update from Robert

*********
Jodi is hesitant and scared about her new surroundings. I think she feels there are expectations from herself that she needs to be able to walk out of rehab. She has a lot more worries now that she is feeling better. She thinks more about home and the boys. She is looking forward to getting her trach out on Wed. She is looking forward to this new trach because it will enable to use her new found swallowing (she isn't suppose to swallow on the current trach). She suppose to be able to start talking with the new trach as well.

They really worked her hard on Tuesday. She still feels very dizzy, but now that she has gotten out of bed a lot more, getting back in the bed feels less dizzy than it use to feel. She had to "wheel" herself down the hall in her wheelchair.

She has "down" feelings about Christmas and will sorely miss the usual festivities.

Her facial features are looking fantistic. She is no longer looking like someone who is sick or ill. She looks like the old Jodi we know.
