Sadly, it was another downer day for Jodi. As you know, she has been dizzy and nauseated since yesterday AM. She began today in the same condition but as the day progressed, she got worse until she had several bouts of throwing up tonight. She of course aspirated fluid into her lungs and once again, her Oxygen sats dropped. After a couple of hours, she settled down and at 9:00 pm, she fell asleep and I left her in the hands of her capable nurses. I hate leaving her when she is like this. It seems that the staff has had a bug going around among them and some of the patients have contracted it. She did very little therapy due to her being ill and she did not get the trach removed (a huge disappointment). She did not get to go bowling which was again disappointing to her. Let’s all hope and pray for a better day tomorrow.

I am sorry to hear you have caught the bug. I am praying for you and you are always on my mind, especially now that I am a mom. Wow, does it put a new perspective on things. Jo, your little cousin is beautiful and I can't wait for you to meet her. She sends her love and her prayers as well. I love you so much and I admire your strength and perserverance.
