Tuesday
Jodi is recovering well from her peg tube placement surgery. She is still listed in "critical care" and is in ICU for the next day or so. So far she hasn't had any signs of infection and if this continues, they will start to introduce food through the peg tube again shortly. Then, when she gets her strength back, she will be able to start back with her rehab within a week or so. Please continue your prayers, she is feeling better and more hopeful again.

Jodi, Robert and family:
Adam Salazar called me today and told me about all you've been through. He also sent me the link to this blog so I could contact you. Matt - it is amazing of you to keep this blog up to date for all who love Jodi and Robert. Jodi - we haven't talked in so long! You are such a strong, amazing woman. Lord knows you have been handed your share of challenges and you have used your strength to turn those challenges into an opportunity to inspire others (even if i isn't planned, you are a true inspiration). I was thinking tonight about when we were both pregnant with our first boys and we worried about them being ugly. We wondered if anyone would tell us, or if they would say they were cute to make us feel better. And look at our beautiful boys! Look at your beautiful family! A little girl? I love you and miss you. I'll keep up with your progress and ll of you will be in my thoughts every day.
Love,
Jeni
