March 26th

Jodi loves your comments. She has me look for them every day. She has done a lot of therapy today and started using crutches. She did quite well with them. She walks as well with them as she did with the walker. Which does not mean to say that she is ready to walk off into the sunset but she is at least better than we thought she would be. Her speech is getting leaps and bounds better but it is still sometimes hard to understand her. The muscles in her face are improving on the right side and her face sags less each day. Now if she can only get her right eye to blink. She is reading large print books and doing more with Ana Jain. Tomorrow she goes horseback riding. I will keep you updated on that.

Wow...Jodi it sounds like you are making some great progress! That is awesome. I am so glad you are getting to spend time with sweet Ana Jain. She is such a doll. So many people in the ward already love her to pieces!! We are glad to share her with your family. :)

I am anxious to hear about your horseback riding experience. When I worked at McKay-Dee they had an equestrian program for kids...it was great. The kids loved it and it really helped them with balance. I hope you enjoy it, too.

Continue to keep us posted on all the new things you are doing each day. You are such an inspiration...I hope one of these days you will be able to walk over and knock on my door!!

Love,
Jodi B
